GENIE

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

Let us introduce GENIE

GENIE is an AI-Powered Process Intelligence platform that is GENerating Insights for Execution. To get a complete picture of your business operations you need good data. Our enterprise business software can collect all the user activity data, all the time, from all your departments. We can currently accommodate tracking up to 10k users at a time.

Our Command Center visually represents the data points that are important to your business. So you can be up to date with company metrics in just a glance.

The challenges that come with scaling an enterprise business are many. One of the hardest for leaders is being able to get a clear snapshot of company health and productivity. Low process intelligence causes leaders to wonder; what’s really going on in each department, and how is it being measured?

How would it change your company’s ability to forecast if you could see:

If only there was a comprehensive dashboard with real up-to-the-minute information. Guess what? We hear you, we built one.

What is Process Intelligence and why does it matter

Process Intelligence is data that has been collected to analyze the individual steps within a business process or operational workflow. Process intelligence can help an organization to identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency. – TechTarget

Understanding your processes is the key to being able to make meaningful improvements that increase efficiency and output. So, if process improvement is the key to improved efficiency, why is process intelligence so low? Because traditional methods of process documentation were hard. They get lost in a maze of data that humans had to sort manually. Until now…

AI-Powered Intelligent Process Discovery

Now all user process activity on their computer can be captured, while they work, without disrupting their workflow. Gone are the days of massive screenshots that have to be manually coded and scraped for data. We are collecting the user’s metadata and tracking all meaningful task inputs. Excel sheets, PDFs, web forms, email, slack, any desktop or web application, you name it, we track it.

We combine task mining and process mining to map where information is handed off between departments and identify slow-downs or bottlenecks. Complex processes that may have taken human business analysts weeks or months to find can be discovered in days with AI process discovery tools.

GENIE assembles the user actions into tasks, and groups the tasks into processes. Adding on the Improvement or Automation Accelerators  you will be able to dig deeper into the data. They will reveal each process and its variations. From there we can help identify which processes have high automation potential and which would benefit most from process improvement. When the employee salary data is entered, we can also predict ROI on these initiatives.

Command Center – the data you need to make decisions

“Data is the new oil. It’s valuable, but if unrefined it cannot really be used.” Clive Humby, 2006

The CORE functionality of GENIE is tracking and analyzing your company process and performance data. Our customizable command center gives you a high-level view of company operations and allows you to visualize the data that matters most to you.

This section of our command center allows you to see users working in different regions of your operations. If an office goes offline due to power outages, natural disasters, or local holidays you will be able to see it. Seeing the total number of users active right now and their departments, allows you to track when work is being done in each sector of the business.

Did the recent staff training create a bump in productivity that tapered off two months later, or was the change lasting? The last technology upgrade we implemented made our process more stable, but did that increase efficiency as much as we hoped? We added two new staff members, did task output increase enough to justify the spend?

With every process improvement, technology upgrade, staff training or hire, the questions are the same: Did we increase productivity? GENIE’s Productivity Change module shows productivity month over month. This allows leaders to see changes in output in real-time rather than waiting for the next quarterly report.

These panels are best used together. They allow you to track each functional area of your business across a field of metrics. Perhaps the most important of which is the annual cost.

When looking for ways to increase efficiency and decrease spending, the highest cost centers are often looked at first. It is often difficult for leaders to get a window into how efficient a department is.  Are they wasting time or is the workload really as heavy as the staff thinks it is?

In the Scorecard, we can see how many tasks GENIE has discovered that employees are performing and how much time those tasks are taking. Departmental occupancy will show us how much downtime actually exists between tasks. Some white space is important, we want to keep humans human (we can build bots for the non-human tasks). What we are looking to discover is the

Notifications – Alerts, Violations, and Recommendations

Protocol breaches happen, and the faster they are discovered the faster they can be remedied. Our Notifications center has three main types of updates, the parameters for each can be updated to your specific company needs.

Alerts are triggered when metrics move outside your set parameters

  • productivity dips
  • bot breaks
  • employees underperforming
  • processes increasing in variation

Violations are compliance or company policy breaches

  • PII was sent out of the org or incorrectly between departments

Recommendations are areas where the data point to big wins from improvements

  • Automation opportunities
  • Process improvement opportunities
  • Training opportunities – show big up or down ticks in employee performance

“Integrating the Information – Facilitating meaningful change

Our goal is to facilitate better conversations between leaders and their department heads. If overall productivity dipped in June we can look at the Department Occupancy to see if there was a correlated increase in idle time. Or, call a foreman who can explain if there was a supply line issue that caused the slowdown.

If you want more data for an underperforming metric this is where our Accelerators can be added. Unlocking these features allows you to drill down to exactly where the problems are, which process, which department, which user group, exactly.

Through the Command Center, high-level leadership can understand how work is performed in their organization and what high-value opportunities for improvement or automation exist. You will have the data to:

  • Create a comprehensive view of where work is occurring in an organization’s operations
  • Understand how effectively tasks are being performed
  • Identify current cost and time commitment required to perform processes
